Your CFO announces that the finance team will start using an AI agent to auto-approve expense claims under $500. You're the CDO. What do you do?

I'd want to see the agent's approval logic first — what fields it's actually checking and what happens when a claim is ambiguous. Before it goes live I'd run it in shadow mode for a few weeks against a human approver so we can compare, and I'd set a hard rule that anything flagged as travel or client entertainment routes to a human no matter the amount.
